Eric Fairlie and Adam Dubeau have strong feelings about what it means to be a DJ. “I approach DJing more as theatre,” Eric says. “We have always helped direct and entertain people by finding other ways to bring excitement rather than just pushing a ‘play’ button.”
The pair met at a DJ association meeting in 2012 and found their vision for their performances matched. They started Beaufair Weddings and Entertainment in 2014 and have been serving Western Canada “from the Rockies to Regina, and Cold Lake to Coutts” ever since, Eric says.
The pair hone a variety of skills beyond just performing as disc jockeys. They are also accredited masters of ceremonies and wedding coordinators. “We’re all about making things bigger, better and more entertaining for our couples,” Adam says.
