Very disappointed...

Very disappointed with their rude staff service and unfair trade! I would have given it a higher rate if I didn't experience the cold and rude service today at the Varsity store. My husband and I have shopped there multiple times since our twins were born last summer. Today, we were trying to sell back two swings that we bought from the store a few months ago. This store was a horrible experience i called many times before arriving to be sure i had what they wanted to buy spent thr night before prepping everything (8 boxes of clothes 3 bags of toys and some) nicely folded and organized for them to search threw i dropped everything off and was told to be back in two hours... well i was back in 2 hours and already almost everything had been gone threw *apparently* and maybe half of one box was taken... mind you i went threw everything the night before makig sure it was all to standard! So i ask why i get told stains and rips.... i asked where?? Well no answer was given! Cute part was me watching them actually do their jobs while i was standing there and take almost everything right in front of me. the girl looked quite scared and guilty to me i was extremely upset at the situation. Dont Lie To Your Customers ! That was my first and last experience with this company! I may also note that while she was cutting me a check for the items takem while I was standing there her co worker was taking shoes out of a box she was sorting DC shoes they were extremly drdirty and looked like garbage I said well guess those are a No Go! She corrected me and stated that DC's are in demand and they make the cut! Crumby company

Overall very good experience

The selecting criteria are a mystery though. Let me illustrate – I brought a box with about 40 pieces of kid’s clothing, 37 of which had the original price tags on, the used ones were brand names, mentioned as “favorite”. 5 made the cut. While browsing, I found way more worn out clothing on the racks. Another peculiarity all dresses size up to 36 months, I believe, must have bloomers. As I find the bloomers extremely ugly not to mention uncomfortable with the elastic running around the thighs, I never buy dresses that have them. So they turned down several dresses with Nordstrom tags on. I think you get a fair price as opposed to just donating stuff at “Good will” (which is located very close by so you can conveniently get rid of the things that did not make the selection). The store is organized by size and style (size 2T, size 3T, girls, boys, long pants, shorts, dresses…) and it makes it a breeze to browse. The staff is friendly, well trained and makes the experience pleasant. I would definitely visit again.
