Canadian Tire General Store

If I could give 10 stars for my experience at Canadian Tire in Canmore totally I would! Absolutely outstanding customer service here! We were on our way to Penticton for special occasion when we got flat tire on highway....to make long story short, when everything was going completely wrong, weekend team at Canadian tire in Canmore went above and beyond to help us! They got us back on the road quickly and were very helpful in so many ways, dealing with manufacturer warranty, ect. Thank you!

Bob, Rob and Zach were very friendly and helpful to help me get my car serviced today. I highly recommend this place.

Great selections of goods and easy returns except for the fact that they keep track of returns and it requires a manager to authorize it if you go over their limit, which can be time consuming.

I couldn't have been happier with the service we received at this store. Michael the Service Centre manager was caring, attentive and knowledgeable. We thought we had a big problem on our hands with our vehicle but turns out it was an easy fix. We were in and out of there within a few hours. Definitely going back.

Canadian tire can...

Canadian tire canmore. I am so disappointed how the auto service department would not even go out of thier way to help some out of town visitors with a flat tire. The answer was a straight up no knowing that they are the only service shop open on a sunday. I understand your booked up but not even caring about the situation we are in. We have a van with runflats and no spare tire. This is very common with cars that are equipped with runflats. If my wife and kids had a sparetire they woild have been on their way. I would give the inconsiderate service from desk guy three thumbs down. Again very disappointed! !!!

Canadian Tire of Canmore, Alberta, thank you for providing the worst and most unprofessional auto service I've ever received. Including: Doing a TIRE inspection when I asked for a WHEEL inspection. Telling me my car would be the first car to be worked on that day, when it was not (I had brought it in the previous day first thing in the morning, but there was no technician on site) Then, the next day, taking a 5 hour vehicle inspection + Oil Change. Lying about that oil change (because you didn't do it). Neglecting to make contact with me after the 5 hour vehicle (After an hour I ended up just confronting them about how my car had been taken back out to the lot after an additional hour) Lying about the number of hours worked on the vehicle, and attempting to charge for 1.5 hours of labour when that wasn't even possible. Lying about having parts in that later turned out not to be in, and attempting to force me to stay an additional day in Canmore (which by the way is actually a very lovely town with the most beautiful view of the Rocky mountains I've seen to date). Attempting to charge +$2000 for a totalled $380 fix. Oh I also feel sorry for the girl who was next to me who brought her car in for a Battery change. She ended up with about the same list as me Including: Break pad replacement (when there is still 3mm left on the pads, that's about %30 remaining) Rotor replacement Caliper replacement Tire replacement (although they actually did need to be replaced +100 000km is good for a tire) And requiring her to stay an additional day in Canmore. Oh to top it off.. Even after that giant list.. They STILL hadn't change her battery.
