Lord's Shoes has been open since 1930 and has benefitted from three generations of strong female leadership. The business is currently owned by Carole Noland and her daughter, who runs the Vancouver location of Lord’s Shoes. Back in the early 1900s, the business was created by Cecil Lord – Carole’s father – who came from a family of shoemakers back in England.
Over the decades, the business has gradually expanded beyond shoes to offer bridal fashions for weddings, evening dresses and other special occasion garments. But a fresh look still begins with the right pair of shoes.
