Shane Holmes and his brother Ryan opened Paintball Gear Canada in 2000, but Shane’s love for paintball began when he was just 12 years-old. He has since travelled around Canada and the United States playing in tournaments and making connections in the world of paintball. In an effort to bring the paintball experience to their own community, Shane and Ryan Holmes started a paintball field on their parents' property in 1990. The brothers created Paintball Gear Canada together out of their mutual passion for the game, and today Shane continues to dedicate himself to its operation.
