Looking to renovate your house and need an electrician? Maybe you would like to upgrade the lighting in your home to something more energy-efficient? Whatever the case, Wicks Electric is available for all of your small and large-scale electrical needs.
Formed in 2012 by Adam Wicks, Wicks Electric has since then been offering electrical work ranging from basic service calls and rewiring to commercial and high-end residential lighting and electrical installation.
“No job is too big or too small for us,” says Adam. “From minor wiring work to full-scale residential or commercial jobs, we can handle it.”
Working mostly with contractors and business owners, Wicks Electric has become the go-to electrician company for many contractors in the North Vancouver area. “We have a good base of contractors that call us whenever they need electrical work done,” explains Adam. “However, we also work directly with individual homeowners to help them with the electrical side of their home renovation projects.”

I was so impressed with Tyler from Wicks Electric! He was right on time, was super-friendly and informative, got the job done quickly, and completely explained the billing and materials costs which were quite reasonable. Because it was a small job in an unusual house, I had been afraid I might get one of those old-school grumpy guys who treats you like an idiot and a nuisance, but not at all. Very refreshing! So women who don't want to deal with sexist cranky curmudgeons, I'd go with Wicks!

I wanted the best at a good price and Wicks Electric delivered. I needed electrical work done in a short time period and I didn't want to be overcharged for it. Last year we had a flood in our strata owned rental unit in our building. Wicks Electric was a part of the team that restored the unit and council was extremely happy with the results. Wicks was referred by my plumber (Rymer Solutions-awesome as well) as a company he'd worked with and respected. I met with Adam to discuss our project. He was professional and enthusiastic where some other electricians I'd spoken to were not. We hired Wicks because we felt they were what we wanted in terms of knowledge and experience. We're very happy with the results, Colton and his crew are great (all helpful, polite and thoughtful).Any bumps in the project were sorted out. Overall, very glad.

Wicks was recommended to me by Robinson Lighting. Adam (owner) delivered. The property requiring the electrical work (fan install on a 16' high ceiling) is a rental property and hence doing the job required coordination with my tenant. Adam coordinated the work directly with her and per the feedback I received the technician arrived right on time to complete the work which was done on budget. My tenant also communicated that Wicks Electric took great care and respect with her personal belongings

I needed some electrical work performed on an urgent basis due to possible safety issues. Despite a calendar filled with scheduled work, Adam Wicks was able to arrange an electrician within 48 hours, Jonathan. He arrived exactly when he said he would, was courteous, and he got right down to work. The safety issues were addressed, including bringing multiple wiring concerns up to code, and he didn't dawdle at all. After the job was complete, he cleaned up after himself, a very nice touch.
Shockingly awesome. Adam came to our business with his team after we required a much needed tune-up to our electrical system. They were very sensitive to keeping noise minimal, they left the place spotless, and they were a pleasure to have around. Very reasonable rates for the amazing quality of work they did too.
