lol, I know this review comes quite late 'cause it's already almost Christmas, but I've been busy. I've actually visited stitch world alteration a couple of times already, to get some stitching, hemming and embroidering done mainly for costumes ('cause I attend a lot of parties). The last time I went there, I got them to work on a costume for halloween - was dressing up as a half-witch, half-zombie, lol, double the cliche. I didn't need it done too quickly, only need it back in about a week or so, but they were so great, they called me three days after I'd dropped it off, telling me I could come pick it up. And it was better than I thought it would look! Seriously guys, every time I come here, your work just keeps on getting better and better, you guys have magic hands! Plus, they always look so happy doing what they're doing, makes you happy to go to them over any other business. Owned by a humble Vietnamese family, so I definitely feel happy supporting their homegrown business. It's not even that expensive; I feel kind of guilty if I don't give a tip, especially with how great and fast they work. Ten thumbs up. Seriously, try them once and you'll probably never go anywhere else again. Love them!! Amanda

my personal review of the hemming done

Although I've shopped at Scottsdale centre mall before , but I never knew there was an alteration and dry cleaning place that's hidden by the back entrance of the mall, until a close friend recommended me there to get my favorite dress altered because it was too long and did not fit me properly after I lost over 30 pounds and really needed it for a birthday party that night. When I arrived at the shop , I was greeted with a smile, I then told them it was really important that I needed the dress done the same day for the party. At first she said that normally harder alterations requires at least next day service and simple hems can be done while you shop, but when they saw that I was in distress, the seamstress and the counter guy was so understanding and told me that they would rush my order while I shop. I thought to myself maybe I shouldn't have asked them to rush my order maybe it would turn out bad. I trusted my friend and went ahead with the hemming. An hour and a half later I came back, I was nervous and worried . As soon as I tried my dress on I couldn't hold back my tears of joy , the dress complemented my new figure perfectly. The dress now shows off my thinner body, I was so happy with the decision to go there. so far the service was very good, quality of work was very professional, fast and price was very reasonable. I found my new favorite alteration store. I will definitely recommend all friends to come here.
