"I've been working in restaurants since I was about seven years-old," says Alex Zarmakoupis, owner of Langley's Poseidon Greek Restaurant. "The restaurant business is in my blood. My parents have always owned a restaurant, and they still do back in Greece."
Alex describes the food at Poseidon as having an "authentic, home-cooked" style. "Everything is made in-house and served fresh," he says. "Dishes are cooked to order and served. Nothing is bought frozen." Although the menu boasts a broad range of traditional Greek dishes such as dolmades, moussaka and souvlaki, Alex is quick to point out that you can also enjoy steaks, poultry and seafood as well as a wide variety of pastas, soups and salads. "There's something for everyone on the menu," he notes.
Absolutely delicious food! Friendly staff. Usually have the souvlaki or the lasagna. Tastes like it was home cooked. We have been going there for years
