Terrible food! Fish was cooked till batter was mahogany colored and brittle(gentleman 87 no teeth)sent back 10 minutes later received another marginally lighter in color and was told that it couldn't be cooked less or internal temp would not be right. So this fish,that was less that 1/2 the size of a local fish(fresh) and chippy and the same price was cooked from frozen. No lemon or tarter sauce and the coleslaw was cabage(large grate) with straight mayo. Just sad!

Bad kitchen

The food is great but it comes out on a cold plate, and since the door to the patio is open it is also cold inside. This makes the food go cold within 2 minutes. The kitchen staff should do less complaining and do a better job ie. heating the plates before they throw on hot food. I would've rather warm food than to see the waitress who was extremely nice (redhead) get complained at by the kitchen staff. Oh and one of them also insulted a customer.-been in the industry for 6+ years

Food was tasty and delicious. View stunning and server most cordial. Cannot wait til the next time.

I usually go there pretty often and the food is amazing! Their homemade chicken strips are my favourite, highly recommend eating there. It's a bit pricy but not too much. I had absolutely no problems at all

rude owner

This summer my wife and I, who live in Nakusp, as well as my son, daughter in law and 4 year old grandson went for dinner. It was a very warm evening and we were seated at a table in the sun. When we asked the waitress if we could move to a shady table she said that she would have to go and ask. (There were several empty tables available). We were place at a different table. We had to ask for water, which arrived some time later. It wasn't particularly busy, but the restaurant seemed understaffed. The dishes we order were mostly pasta; two orders were for spaghetti, but we were told that they only had linguini. (This is an Italian restaurant!!). When the meals finally arrived there was no garlic bread as mentioned in the menu. We asked for some and received 2(!) pieces for 5 people. We asked if we could have some more and were given 2 more pieces when we had almost finished our meal. No parmesan or fresh pepper were offered. The meatballs had a lot of filling and did not taste very good. All this would not have been reason enough to write this negative review. When my wife and I went to pay for the meal, there were some problems with the debit card. The waitress was very helpful, but it took some time. Suddenly the proprietor came storming out of the kitchen yelling at the young waitress to get back to work. This was done in front of everyone! The poor girl became quite understandably very upset and teary eyed. Other customers were flabbergasted. I wrote a letter to the proprietor but never received a reply We don't mind paying an above average price for a meal, but then the quality should match the the price. I didn't. However, the treatment of the staff by the owner is terrible, which will only result in a high turn over rate further deteriorating the quality of service.
