    Ginger is a Great Groomer

    That post criticizing the dog groomer for his or her skills and personality is from 2011 and should be deleted. The current groomer is Ginger, and she has a very special connection to dogs; they are drawn to her peaceful nature. She was able to calmly trim the claws of our excitable husky and our border collie, both of whom would return with enthusiasm to see her again. She is also very friendly and open to suggestions. I think she's the best.

    Don't even waste your money

    We never had any issues with using Petland in the lower mainland, and assumed the grooming protocol was standardized among a large chain such as this. However, the Prince George location is an exception. To say my dog was butchered was an understatement. And the on site groomer was hands down rude. I regret taking my dog in....if the groomer is severely lacking social graces, imagine what they are doing to your pet when you're not around.

    Dont Go To Petland

    We took our dog there to get groomed. We had herd nothing bad about petland so thats were we went. we told them what we wanted to get done and were told yes to what we wanted. When we picked him he just wanted out of there. he looked nothing like what we wanted they gave him a snowser cut to his face not what we wanted and his body looked like a hack job there were long patches and really short patches. his underbelly was shaved right to the skin. his tail had not been touched same with his ears and around his eyes like they told us were done. I paid that much for somthing i didnt want. We love petland and the staff they are always helpful and friendly. and its close to our place so we were really dissapointed
