Very poor service and slow .Over 8 weeks to fix the house and nothing done lying all the time ,breaking prmises all the time ..e.g we will come tomorrow 9-10 and no one come .no calls to apologize or to reschedule and on and on

Todd was our project manager and he was very professional and kept us well informed. Our flood technician Mike was also courteous and managed the situation quickly, preventing further potential damage. I would highly recommend Canstar and Todd's team to anyone experiencing an emergency flood situation such as ourselves.
BEWARE! Canstar Restorations visited my house six times and was able to put tape on the walls to mark out what needed repairing. After 15 consecutive attempts to contact the company failed and seven months passed I hired a contractor who repaired my water damaged ceiling. After nine months I received a bill for several hundred dollars. Canstar Restorations DID NOT DO ANY WORK but sent me a bill...BEWARE
I had contacted Canstar because of their A+ review on the BBB. Sadly to say that rating is completely false. I gave them 1 star for the courteous workers that I've met, otherwise, I would be rating them at half a star or none at all. The time and speed in which they took to repair a damage that was less than 700sqft is beyond frustrating. They failed to remove the dry wall from our ceiling in the closet but instead painted over the water damage and claimed it was fine. The laminate and carpeting has finally been done after 4 weeks of stalling. Today (Dec 23rd 2014) they had someone come in to install the base boards and now has postponed the cleanup which I estimate would take no longer than 2 hrs to do so until after Christmas and at the rate they're going, I would assume it won't be done until after the New Years. They were called in on Nov 9/10 for the restoration, on Nov 24th the cost was submitted to our insurance company and on Nov 25, a deductible was paid to Canstar, it has been 4 weeks and they are stalling on a 2 hrs cleanup. I'm not impressed. I would definitely not recommend Canstar for any further or future restoration needs.
