Very poor experience. They took my deposit but did not arrive to move me and they refuse to return my deposit. Have heard many bad things about this outfit and their staff through searches - what happened to me is very common with them. Keep your money, get moved - hire another reliable firm.
We had a terrible experience with this moving company. We were moving from Fort St. John BC to Toronto ON, we were told it would take 7 to 10 days for delivery. Our stuff was picked up 5 days late, and then were never able to deliver. Our stuff was unloaded from the truck and left in storage containers in Alberta for 45 days. We had to hire another moving company to go and get it from the storage containers, and bring it the rest of the way to Toronto. Nightmare experience.
Moved from Dallas, Texas to Vancouver, BC. Booked a moth prior. The office coordinated very well with me, packing was very neatly done, care was taken by the crew, friendly and hardworking. Loaded the truck me the next day, again a swift service. My delivery arrived as scheduled in Vancouver. just finished unpacking and all seems to be well. Many thanks, to James. Stephen, Grant and the other crew members, my apologies for forgetting your names. I will use you guys again when I return to Texas
This was truly an excellent moving experience. I have to thank James for fitting my apartment move in at the near last minute, and Danny and Munkie for moving my apartment across Vancouver in less than two hours start to finish during rush hour! They took apart a piece of furniture & packaged it in plastic wrap for storage because it couldn't fit in the door. AMAZING! These three people, made this experience truly wonderful for me. I cannot thank you enough. I absolutely recommend this company.
I would not use Canadian vanlines again. Still waiting for a refund.
Moved from Swift Current to Winnipeg,firstly I received a competitive quote then added the material and packing service, the communication from the customer service was good and detailed. I was very happy about that. The movers came a little early, they were very nice and polite and run me through the procedure. they began packing at 8am, non stop till 5pm. This company saved at the very last minute, I was let down by another company who failed to show. My neighbour Canadian Van Lines, the customer service responded very well, they price matched the other company which was very ethical of them. They deployed a nearby team, who i must say were absolutely brilliant, they packed my 4 bedroom Calgary townhouse within 4 hours. My contents were delivered to Salmon Arm the next day, offloaded, nothing broken. Definitely recommend.
When they came to pack on a Saturday, they did an excellent packing job and then returned on Monday to move it all. The move went really smoothly. They showed up on time, it took the amount of time they estimated, nothing got broken, the movers were really good about moving furniture to where my mom wanted it, one of the movers took a lot of care to get my mom's bed set up, etc. She would use them again and was treated more than fairly - very nicely.
Moved from a storage unit to a house and the movers they sent were fantastic. Very careful and worked quickly. Can't say enough highly recommend them.
We moved a 4 bedroom house with a lot of artwork and stereo equipment. we packed most of the house ourselves but the movers packed the art, stereo speakers and larger electronics. They did a great job, making custom boxes, dealing with all the stuff we didn't get to, etc. Absolutely nothing broke! I have moved several times, including internationally and I thought this was impossible, no scratches, amazing. I think I could have spent less but the service was worth it. Thanks.
They moved us two ways. Into and out of our storage during a construction project. They were upfront with their fees. The crew was very careful but also very quick. They were very respectful of the fact I was paying by the hour. I was impressed by the shrink wrapping service of all the hardwood furniture and mattresses being covered. Office also communicated very with me. No complaints. I would recommend them to friends and family.
I've never had such a terrible experience with any company. I paid my deposit for the move across Canada. My stuff never arrived. My belongings were kept in storage for over a month and I was continuously given excuses as to why my belongings weren't being delivered ( snow storms, flat tires, driver in the hospital Etc etc) I was yelled at over the phone by management and other staff and told I was being impatient. I ended up having to cancel and hire a new company. Eventually I got a refund but only when I asked MasterCard to cancel the payment and took a bad review down from BBB. I would not recommend this company to anybody.
Will use them again These guys made it as smooth as possible. I even asked them to do many favors for me and they did it with lots of enthusiasm. They did not charge me extra for that. quite honestly I would not be able to do their jobs with such a positive attitude and there is no way I could say how much I appreciate it. I will try to thank them with this review for the great job they did.
First time using a moving company. Money well spent, stress free. These guys were very good, polite, handled my furniture with care, no breakages, they were on time and delivered within the time window. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanking James, Martin, Greg.
These guys were great. They showed up early which was a plus for me. They were patient with my apartment building and all the quirks they have about moving out. Of course my elevator broke down so they had to take one load at a time down the elevator that was working. They were pretty careful with my stuff. Recommend them anytime. Thank you all.
Prepaid for my car transportation on 16 March 2015 never picked up the car , till today never returned my money said they have 30 day return policy , never returned my money , never use them
The movers of this company were outstanding. They handled by items with great care. Delivery was on time and their quotes were very competitive. Felix ensured that the move went as planned and for that I am highly recommending them.

My wife and I moved with Canadian Van Lines, my parents had used them many years back And had a good experience so we were not worried. The team lived up to our expectations James was very attentive to our needs , the guys on the ground did an excellent packing job Nothing broken. They also shipped our vehicle in an enclosed trailer, thank you James, I know you bent over backwards for that to happen when the original quote was for an open carrier. Great company !!
