Located in the historic Settlement Building in Vancouver’s Railtown neighbourhood, Postmark Brewing is part of a manufacturing and lifestyle brand collective that offers a unique one-stop dining and beverage experience. Partners Steve Thorp, Mike Macquisten and Nate Rayment joined with their friends, chefs Reuben Major and Wayne Holm, to open the doors of the craft brewery and lounge in April 2014.
"Our brand style is approachable, sessionable beer made from great ingredients," says Steve. Sessionable, Steve explains, is a buzz word among beer-drinkers, a term used for beers that allow drinkers to enjoy all of the flavour without all of the alcohol, making them suitable for longer drinking ‘sessions’. "We target a lower alcohol content while still keeping good colour and an amazing flavour profile."
One of Postmark Brewing’s most beloved offerings is its pilsner, which has a smooth, crisp flavour. "Pilsner is one of the hardest and most time-consuming beers to make," Steve explains. "There's about a six-week investment time, but it's one of our most popular brews."
