Went two weeks ago for the first time with the thought in mind in using a discount entertainment coupon. When about to pay the bill was told that it was no longer accepted even though it did not expire until Dec. 31 2018 owner refused to honor saying notice of not taking it was posted (poorly scribbled and small)on the outside front entrance which of course was almost important to not only read but see. I know I should have read the notice BEFORE entering but come on.....
First off, the servers were wonderful very nice and my water glass was alwasy full. Prompt and polite...if the food was anywhere near as good as the service i would consider going back.
- frozen vegetables
- cheap bottled greek salad dressing on the greek salad (seriously)
- fresh yet very yellow head letuce in the greek salad
- the roast lamb listed as the house specialty was very much mutton
I had a chiken pita which was decent - but it's tough to really screw that up. Poor husband decided to get the Roast Lamb listed as the 'house specialty' on the menu but could only manage to choke down 1/3 or the meat before tapping out trying to get the taste of mutton out of his mouth with coke.
What kind of an establishment serves frozen vegetables? the type that totally looks and not only tastes like frozen vegetables..the corogated carrot kind!
Funny thing was - the place was pretty full for a wednesday night...ah Brampton...dining out on frozen veggies and not a second thought about it.
I'd go back to grab the chicken pita vs. let's say a burger or a sub one of these days...but i'd never go back for anything else.
The place was clean..but really needs and update...

I've been visiting Symposion off and on for well over 20 years. I've been there for "regular" dinners, special dinners, and 2 New Yrs dinners. I have NEVER been disappointed. The food is GREAT! Service is very good. Recommend the Saganaki,Dolmades, or Keftedes (sp? on all 3) for appetizers. I can't say enough about this place!! OPA!

The food is great, you get an excellent greek salad to start with the dinner and dinner rolls which we never eat because there is simply too much food.

I got a coupon in the mail buy one get one free. I tried the roast lamb which was no bad, I have definately had better. The rest of my party had the chicken which they enjoyed. I would go back if I have another coupon but other then that I think I would try somewhere else.
Really great value! I have been taking clients there for years, mostly for lunch, occasionally for dinner. The food is really good, the service is pleasant, the restaurant looks much more expensive than it is, it is clean & quiet and there is always a table available. I can't figure out why it isn't the busiest place in town at lunch, for under $10.00 you can get a very good meal. I have been there close to 20 times and have never been disappointed. PS: I do not know the owners, I just like the place.
