Do not hire this guy. Paid him $230 to repair our dryer but the work he did didn't stop the original issues we were having. So basically he lied about knowing what the issue was and then just randomly changed some cheap belts to make it look like he did work. After I insisted that he come back to finish the work he agreed to return the next week but then no showed.

We called them. They didn't ask to see out warranty paperwork or properly run a diagnostic test on the unit. We paid $270 to have something fixed that didn't fix the problem then we were told to buy a new one....called manufacturer found out warranty covers for 5 years on parts...a proper technician came out and said it was a different part then they even said when they told us to buy a new one. Another 150 in labour. Check your warranty & call the manufacturer for an authorized repair company.

This company has horrible customer service. They booked and no showed two appointments with no call or notification that they would not be there. I would not use 5 Star a home services as they don't keep their word or provide the service they commit to.
