We left our dog for a nail clipping. Of course, he did not enjoy it, but upon pickup, the lady worker was rude and let us know that it took 2 people to hold the dog to clip his nails. We were not asked to go in and help, we were just treated with rude comments. Is that not part of this company's services? Very disappointed!
Jess is back!! I am so happy. After a 2 year hiatus Jess is back doing her grooming thing. A groomer with 5 years experience and 15 years working with dogs, including training and behavior. She understands dogs, and their individual needs. She always makes my baby look so wonderful! So excited
I just moved to L9ndon and i found Bark and Fitz! I have been in 3 times and am very happy with how kind, attentive and knowledgable the staff are! I met the owner today and he seems very nice. They are going to stock the food i feed my Saints! Overall very impressed! :-)
One of my friends recommended to me to buy dog food from Bark and Fitz as he had a smooth experience with them. I followed his advice and bought dog food for my senior American Bulldog. He has been suffering from food allergies lately and I finally got the right food advice. Their prices encouraged me to go for such high quality food which I would generally avoid because of the high prices. Bark and Fitz does grooming? Many people make that statement when I say where my dog is groomed. Jessica has been a groomer at Bark and Fitz for 2 years and does an amazing job. Her credentials are posted and she was trained by a Master Groomer. My dog is so happy to see her, and I can't even say her name, or my dog gets so excited it is unbelievable. I wouldn't have my dog groomed by anyone else!
I find this last post extremey hard to believe...if you just go in you'll see it's utterly not true. They have rescue cats every weekend, they have a dog rescue day I think twice a month on the weekends. They have donated countless prizes to our rescue and are one of the major sponsors of Pawlooza. Christine, my groomer has about a million cards of thanks in her room for her efforts. They only offer the best of the best in foods, treats and if that makes you think "they only care about the money" I think you are dead wrong. I have been shopping here for a year and the team is an absolute delight.
Yuck! They are all about the money.
I've been to a lot of pet stores here in London, having been a pet owner now for over twenty-five-years, and have not found a place quite as good as BnF for my dogs (and cat). The groomers are respectful, and patient. My dogs are always wagging their tails when we enter the store because they enjoy being groomed so much. When I come to pick them up, they are always perfectly groomed and in good spirits. If I have a request for how I'd like it done, they always oblige me without error. The food is the highest quality you can find, and the staff are knowledgeable about animals. Excluding a veterinarian, they are the most valuable source of information you could have. When I come into the store, they always recognize me, and are sure to ask how I'm doing, and how my dogs have been. Keep up the good work BnF!
I took my dog Aries (golden retriever)there for the first time just last week and had him groomed...when I picked him up he looked as if he was about to go into a show ring! I was floored... he's seven years old and I've never seen him look like that EVER before. I am indebted to Christine for the beautiful work she did and even a week later it looks fantastic. His feathering was just gorgeous. Also, I showed up a little early and was talking with the front staff, a young man and woman, who helped me pick a food to help with his allergies....I had been buying my food elsewhere (won't say where)and I thought I'd tried everything...ever since I put him on this new food, Acana, at their suggestion, he seems to have stopped his licking and biting. Fingers crossed this keeps working!!! Just wanted to say a big thankyou and let you know I'll certainly be back! couldn't be more thrilled!
I used to come in on Sundays in the morning but the guy that opens is always late, which is annoying. I decided to stop coming in after I heard the groomer Christine freaking out on a dog in the back, everytime I see her she;s always like "oh I'm so late" but she will go out for smokes constantly.... then if you stand quiet you can hear her shouting at the dogs in the back (like why work at a petstore if you treat dogs like that?). The older lady with dark hair is the rudest person I have ever met ... I have also witnessed her yelling at customers dogs. I found out Petsmart has the food I need (for cheaper) so I will never come in to here again. And the cat cage is absolutely horrible, I can not believe they don't clean the cage, it makes me sad for the cats. Like how is it legal to treat animals that way??
Always closed when they say they will be open (this Thurs morning for example). But I found out from a co worker Pet Paradise sells Acana and Orijin so good I don't have to go to Barf and Fits anymore. Used to get my dog groomed hear but Christine kept rebooking my appointment, one day her car broke down, next her back was out, next her teeth had problems etc My sister used to bring her dog but same problem. The "customer service" is horrible, the one old lady talks so loud the dogs are scared of her, and she is so clueless about the products it is laughable, there are two girlie guys, one is so slow he can not work the cash I always have to wait it is pathetic. They also sell bones that will choke your dog so do not buy them.
