We stopped at Danay and Kris Family Restaurant on our way from Toronto to Ottawa. Service was fast and friendly and the food was fantastic. Our meal was way more delicious and better value than a fast food stop and didn't really take any longer. The place was very clean, but the best part about this restaurant was the quality of the food. For a small family restaurant/diner there was lots of variety on the menu and everything was fresh, with very generous portions. We'll definitely stop in again on our next family road trip.
I used to eat at Louie and May's every two weeks without fail, I looked forward to it as the food was tasty and the service was friendly and warm.
However, Louie and May sold the business and it appears they took the good eats and the friendly vibe with them.
During my visit, I waited forever to eat and witnessed an altercation with a regular that was just downright awful.
I will never set foot in there again, which pains me.
