First great patio weather of the season, we decided to go to the Oak on Meadowbrook. We've been there before to watch a hockey game and got great service!
This time, there was only one guy providing service to the entire patio. He was slow...mostly due in part because he was waiting on the 'regulars' first. So, the service was a bit to be desired. The menu touted British-themed specials, including Strongbow Cider, which was ordered. The server came back with another brand, saying they were out of Strongbow until next week.
We've had the food before. It's your regular pub fare, nothing extraordinary. Because of the service, our food arrived cool (not entirely cold). Still edible.
The atmosphere was good. The characters were great to watch and became the fodder around the table.
