Had family coming from out west so I needed a 7 passenger vehicle. I went in person to the Ontario street location and reserved a Durango, an agent named Brock entered my name and the dates required. He said I could pick it up at 5pm the night before. My wife called a few days ahead to confirm the reservation and was told everything was a go. The night before,I arrived to pick up the vehicle and was told that there was no record of my reservation and they had no vehicles.
I called the Ontario Street Enterprise franchise to inquire about a vehicle today around 2:30 pm. I was greeted with a heavy sigh, and then when I was given a price on a rental , I heard him having a conversation with someone in his cubicle. When I asked him if he was talking to me , he said no, someone had asked him a question. He proceeded to speak with the person in his cubicle rather than me. Needless to say I hung up and called Discount. You lost a guaranteed customer Adam.
Awful. Had a car scheduled to pick us up at home. Called enterprise early to schedule a time and they then told us to call closer to when we were ready. We called no problem. An hour later we called back to find the driver had to drop someone off in Stoney creek first. No one told us this. Then over an hour and a half from call still no pick up. I had a family dinner to be at in Toronto and now am going to be stuck in traffic. Whoever answered phone explained it's a fast moving business and made us feel completely unimportant. I would never recommend enterprise to anyone after this.
Rented for the 6th of August with a pickup at St Catherine's airport. Landed and could not get a response on their phone. Called the national call centre and they did their best to help so we hired a cab to go to their offices and pick the car. They were closed for the civic holiday and
our reservation was worth nothing. Or it was worth the same as their service. Maybe it is just this office. They have real problems, apparently.
