Poor quality food. Poor attitude of young servers.
Caesar salad was wilted and dirty,croutons were stale.
We had to ask for ceasar dressing.
The clubhouse sandwiches had leather-like chicken,with no mayo or butter on the bread.
The tomatoes and lettuce were rotten and wilted.
My bbq chicken pizza had mushy chicken.
The nachos were stale.
My daughter bought my birthday supper.
She wasn't asked for another drink-water or otherwise.
The food looked good online,hence my choice for supper.
Unfortunately it will be our last.
We were all totally impressed with the food. We have dined here 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months and all times were very impressed.
Their fish and chips is amazing...best fried fish I have ever tasted...not greasy at all, the batter was unique to what I've ever experienced before and absolutely delicious.
Salads are excellent and portions for all food is large. Excellent value for the meal portions and taste of the food.
Atmosphere is very relaxing - casual dress. The wait staff are competent and pleasant.
We look forward to going back again and again, as we've never been disappointed.

My wife and I return to Chicago Joe's for dinner three or four times a year. (We usually eat dinner out three or four times a month.) We return so regularly because the food is fine and the wait staff are without a doubt the best in town.
I suspect the service is so good due to the fact that their policies are listed at each table. I would guess that each of the restaurants at this hotel chain would have similarly good service.
In addition to the meal above, we have enjoyed the wings, fish and chips, burgers, sandwiches and many of the appetizers at Chicago Joe's. I agree with another visitor that the wings at Chicago Joe's are my favourite in town as well.
Have been going to chicago joes for along time, mostly at lunch, but this time for my birthday supper yet...my husband was told the ribs would not be ready till 7:30pm, and this was 5pm on a saturday night, so he ordered the dry apetizer ribs in replacement, not what he wanted. And I ordered ceasar salad, which was this little bowl full of mostly lettuce, and the chicken strips are usually like 4 big ones, with chicken in them, and these were like 4 tiny little things with mostly batter on them, could hardly chew them,and no taste to them. I was not impressed, but the service is always a very long time till you get your meal, and i know that it has been that way for some time. So i do really like the resaurant, so this is why i am letting you know what is happening. Hopefully this will change, before it goes downhill. thanks lynda gerow, thunder bay,on
