Red Koi Tattoos And Piercing

I had a terrible experience with Jessi at Red Koi Tattoo. He charged me $500 for a couple of SIMPLE tattoos. I would have been fine with this if he did a good job. I asked for a small cross and it was completely crooked! cant even trace a straight line. i also asked for roman numerals which were all crooked. i had to go to another artist and pay again to have it fixed because i would never dare let jessi tattoo me again. the worst part is, he was asking very inappropriate questions..

I'm shocked by all these reviews of Jessi, i was just there yesterday! i payed a hefty amount and got AMAZING work. obviously all the people underneath are cheap people who don't want to pay for quality work. i had a great experience, with constantly asking if I'm OK,or if i want coffee, the secretary even bought me sushi! Ive seen other tattoos with crooked lines choppy shading ugly pieces of art, and you're saying red koi is over priced for terrible work?? the art speaks for itself. i guess this guy has some very jeaaaaalous people against him..

Jessie is very nice - Happy with my piercing!

Tonight I had my belly button pierced by Jessie and I am very happy with it! He was friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable being pierced by him. Everything is sanitary and he did a great job!

Not Very Good

Beware of this place and the artist jessi. He thinks overcharging customers will produce quality work. WRONG!! He can't even trace a straight line, let alone tattoo one. Go elsewhere people.

Wow, this guy is bad. Way over charged for a simple design. Insisted that i buy the aftercare lotion for $20. Claimed how good he is and that he has clients coming in from all over. Will need a touch up in about a month. Will seek elsewhere

Looks Can Be Deceiving

This place is clean, I'll give them that. But this guy Jessie has no clue as to what he's doing. The black ink that he uses faded within a month. I found out from other places that not all black inks are equal. Some artists will cut cost by buying cheap ink. His work is average at best. Shop else where and take your time. Giving him a 2 is being generous.

Mediocre Work @ Twice the Price

Man, this guy charged way too much for a simple tattoo. At a closer look i noticed the shading and lines were off. Advised against going here, At this location . Shop around people

Best InVaughan? More Like Worst in Vaughan

Usually artists collect the money after the work is done. This guy Jessie, was too busy asking for the money up front. Very unprofessional and way over price. While working he was asking too many personal questions which made me feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this place.

Not all Red Kois are equal

I can't speak about the other red koi location, I believe there's one in Barrie and there's one on Rutherford. But this location on Jane with the artist with the south american accent and shaved head, I don't endorse. He accidently cut my wrist while trying to shave it with a razor. I don't know why he did that since i have no hair on my wrist. It took forever for my tattoo to heal and the cut where he tattooed over lifted the ink and now i have a blank spot. This guy should not be allowed to do this type of art.

Very Disappointed.

I think this guy must have been an apprentice or something. His business card said Jessie. Was not happy with the tattoo at all. I will have to search for another parlor to do my touch up. I strongly advise people to do their research before getting ink. I picked this place because it was close to home, big mistake

Lousy Artist

I went in for a simple tattoo. He did a lousy job. Lines were crooked and out of place. Horrible shading. Afterwards he wanted to charge me an extra $20 for the aftercare lotion. Are u serious? This guy claims he's from Columbia S.America. I forgot his name. Beware. There are other Red Koi places. But stay away from this one.

Cannot draw straight and continuous lines. Way over priced. Definitely not recommended. Bad artist
