Like many great ideas, Boomers Play Place was born out of necessity. “After having my own kids, I noticed that there wasn’t a play place nearby that focused on toddlers and preschoolers,” says owner and founder Amanda Fox. “Toddlers really need their own space, one where they can learn, explore and develop their motor skills, and not have to worry about getting accidentally run over by the older kids.”
Amanda started Boomers, an indoor playground that’s focuses on younger kids, babies and toddlers from newborn to age four. All the equipment and facilities are geared towards preschoolers. “We have a playhouse, climbing areas, trampolines and bouncy chairs for the babies,” says Amanda. “And, a place for moms to gab and catch up.”
