I have had my taxes done here for 20 plus years and i have been always satisfied with his work. When Revenue Canada scrutinized my tax return 2 years ago, they found no errors and my refund was processed. I highly recommend this business!

Horrible experience

Well, i took the time to write a review for this business due to my poor experience while trying to do my taxes for the year 2012. i went in to do my taxes middle of March and was supposed to get a refund and I was told that It should take 5-10 business days to receive the refund which is fine. 3 weeks go by and i did not receive any cheque, so i called CRA and they told me they have no file in the system for me for that year. So I started calling the Maurice Morneau hoping they could tell me what happened and no one was returning my calls (but they gladly took the payment of $45). So then i decided to go there in person and I did and the person i was dealing with was so baffled and told me my file completely disappeared from his computer, he took my copies that I brought with me which had all the information and he photocopied it and said he'll take care of it in 6 days. We guess what 5 days after leaving that office i called the CRA to see if it was filed, and yet again no file for me. I called the Maurice back and had to basically beg them to do something and they said, you need to send us a form back with your signature. Well why wasn't i told this when i made a trip to their office. So now i have to wait another 10 days, and all in total the results were. 1. 7 Weeks of waiting time for them to actually submit my file 2. Another 10-15 days to get my refund 3. Forget about returning customers' phone calls, the tax season was done so why are you taking your sweet time when you know you messed up and did not even submit my file 4. NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY form these people 5. While i called and inquired about my tax return status, they were rude and acted annoyed that i kept calling. Honestly one of the most horrible experiences ever. i'm just astonished that I did not get an apology or any response regarding my situation from these people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
