“I’ve been in this business for quite a while, since I got out of college,” says Domenic Pede, owner of Only Pasta Inc., “I used to work part-time at a place when I was going to college – a small business – and I really enjoyed it, but I decided to go on my own.” This entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a flair for cooking pastas and sauces, led to Only Pasta becoming a neighbourhood hit when it opened up in 1992.
Since then, the business has continued to grow stronger as Domenic has kept the focus on fresh-made pasta that warms the soul (and the stomach). “The great thing about Only Pasta is that we make all our products all-natural – there are no preservatives or additives, and we have a variety of products that you will not find in any supermarket...stuff that we manufacture, like lobster-filled wild mushroom ravioli – we make products that you will not find anywhere.” Providing pasta that tastes as good as it’s made isn’t just an option for Domenic, it’s the only way to do business.
