This little shop is considered by many local food bloggers to have the best pie in town. While their menu is limited to a few varieties, the quality is consistent. North of Brooklyn’s traditional thin-crust pizzas come out of the oven blistered to perfection. If a whole pizza is too much, or you want to sample different types, they’ll serve by the slice.

Amico’s Pizza has been around since 1978, serving rich Italian-American dishes to the Parkdale community and passersby. While the space is a little rusty, the food sure makes up for it, and owner Frank makes customers feel like family.

This Queen West restaurant cooks a mix of Roma- and Neapolitan-style pizzas. Though the options are small, they’re quite unique, with choices like wood-roasted cauliflower and octopus pizza. They serve cold dishes like oysters and steak tartare, and boast an extensive wine list to boot. As for the interior, the leather wingback chairs and chiming clocks on the walls make The Good Son one of Queen Street’s most charming spots to tuck in.
