After ten days of no relief from a horrible rash a local Doctor had diagnosed as Scabbies, I went into the Pharmacist and asked if there was another medication I could try as the one the doctor had prescribed wasn't working.. He looked at my forearm and chest and mentioned that he didn't think that what I had was scabbies, but rather a skin rash, and recommended I seek a second opinion and sent me to a different clinic. The new doctor didn't even mention scabbies and when I asked if that was possibly what I had he laughed at me and said I didn't have any of the symptoms so stop worrying.. I then decided to get a third opinion as how could a doctor possibly diagnose something as horrible as scabbies without being sure or even really checking for simple symptoms. My third and regular doctor reasurred me that both the Pharmacist and second doctor were in fact correct and this was infact not scabbies but a rash or allergy. After ten hours of proper medication I am 80% better. I am so thankful for the time this pharmacist spent helping me, I sure wish I'd have gone to see him instead of the doctor to begin with!Lire plus
