Abc press works owner is an outstanding man... Trying to get very important book marks cut for a funeral. We were rudely turned away by one company. Then called abc that was closed. He opened his doors for use and not only did a great job he didn't charge us . I don't live in surrey but would be more then happy to drive there anytime If i need work done... Thank you ABC press work!!!!

They only sell cook books. What a fantastic selection and such knowleadgeable staff. They also hold regular cooking events where they cook from one of the books. Schedule is on their website.

Definitely go to either Cyclone Taylor hockey or figure skate if you need your hockey or figure skates sharpened. I thought it didn't matter but ask for Giovanni at either place...he is the best and has worked for professional skaters...he is the best in Vancouver for sure. People come from the USA, out of province to see him and the price is the same as anywhere else. More than worth it.

I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for. Amherst has been a part of our family for so many years and I could not be more grateful for the journey we have been privileged to share with this top-rate veterinary clinic.

This Pita restaurant is definitely the best "fast food" restaurant around. The ingredients are fresh, lots of choices and you can customize you pita any way you want. We go at least once a week now and we've never gotten the exact same pita twice, great variety for all of us. The service is good, they don't mind explaining the menu or making suggestions. We, and many of our friends, shop at Gymboree and specifically this location for the great children's clothes they offer. With a huge variety of fun and fancy styles and materials there is something for every kid at Gymboree. The best part is that these clothes are well made and built to last. Our child always gets full use out Gymoboree clothes and we are usually able to consign them because they have lasted so well. The Richmond location is often recognized for having the best selection and availability of the latest styles. Two ways to let your dollar stretch further are to participate in their Gymbucks promotions, where you redeem your Gymbucks coupons, earned from previous visits during the earning period, for $25.00 of free merchandise for every $25.00 you spend. The other way is to peruse their sale racks. There are always lots of items on markdown and this is a great way to save money too. If you are looking for fun, funky and stylish clothes for little ones, Gymboree is the place to go!

My wife and I have a sweet tooth and we've been to quite a few of those dessert places. Hands down, Ganache is the best around.
It's a little bit pricey (about $6 for an individual pastry), but they're sooo good that we don't mind paying a little extra for excellent quality in return.
We've tried many of their pastries, and some standouts for us are: Chocolat-Caramel for those with a sweet tooth; I consider this one a "classic" in my book with its slightly crunchy crust and layer of caramel covering the dark chocolate mousse with raspberry filling. Yum! The "Concorde Praliné" is great, too. If you prefer "not too sweet", the "Mango-Chocolat" pastry is also very good.
Ganache Patisserie is definitely one of the gems of Yaletown!
