I rarely ever post reviews on anything so when I do it means a lot to me. Open Sesame is both my wife's and my favorite reasturant. The food is very good and I would highly recommend the buffet style stirfry as you get exactly what you want for a good price. The atmosphere is casual yet can still be romantic. It has a japanese theme with lots of character and style without seeming at all crowded. Pricing is good and the service is even better. I've been to a lot of restaurants in the calgary area but none are better for a nice casual night out for a couple. Lire plus

This little place opened up a few months back only a block away from my house and its close enough to just walk over. We are there on average once a week, and the food is delicious. Never had a problem with it once, they have even changed one of our usual dishes which is now better than before. Cannot complain about this place, even dining in is great as well. Nice design and atmosphere, smaller, but it is still warm and inviting. Will continue to keep coming back. Prices are competitive for other local Vietnamese shops, usually 2 of us eat for right around $20 or a couple bucks over with tip. Lire plus

Been to many different vietnamese restaurants throughout the city and found this to be the most authentic. Menu is easy to read and explains what every dish is and are rated based on popularity. Food taste excellent and is served in large portions. Service is also quick and waitress comes by frequently to check if anything else is needed. Very friendly staff and seems to know most people by name. Does however need a little bit more style and decor and maybe even a public bathroom renovation may be required. Otherwise great restaurant if you want vietnamese food. Would definitely eat there again!! Lire plus
