This veterinary clinic is by far the best one we've been to in Oakville. We used to go to another clinic on Upper Middle and switched when our original vet left because we found the replacement vet was trying to push products and procedures on us. This clinic is very honest and the prices are reasonable. The vets are absolutely amazing and you can tell how much they care about the animals they look after. They also don't force anything upon you and tell you when something is only suggested, instead of saying its mandatory. They help you find the most affordable ways to treat your animal and are very accommodating.
Dr. Haines is the vet we usually see and not enough good can be said of her. HIGHLY recommend this clinic!

We have five dogs and have had medically complex ones in the past as well. They keep our fur family well cared for and we never have to remind them about what is what with whom because they are 100% prepared for every appointment. They remind us about things that need doing and call to check when we have a sick family member. The vets and staff are so nice and very professional. I am so happy we interviewed them and were able to secure such excellent, organized and caring health care!

Ive worked at Chippawa Animal Hospital since Dr. Peggy Dowell opened her doors in 1991. The one thing I can say about working here is that staff dont leave. That speaks volumes to the atmosphere and family we have created over the years. We welcome new clients to join us. My partner and I have been coming to this vet with our two dogs for four years. The prices have always been so fair and even quite low. The service is incredible, everyone is so kind, friendly and seems genuinely happy to work there. We’ve moved from the annex area but we will continue to go there and I would recommend (and already have) any friends go to this vet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We recently lost 2 our dogs. In both incidences we were seen right away. The compassion the doctor showed was very touching. He did not rush us after the 1st one was put down he left us alone. The 2nd died at home.

I switched to this vet. And I’m loving it. They know how to do travel forms for my fur baby. They’re understanding and kind when appointments need to be canceled or moved. my furr baby also had teeth surgery here they where so gentle and kind with him. ? would highly recommend this vet
