At The Locked Room, you need guts, brains, and perhaps some sheer luck. The first of its kind in Calgary, this interactive game business is the result of a collaboration between Kyle Fitzgerald, Edwin Tsui, Susan Tran, and Adil Hooda. “Six players in one room with 60 minutes to learn how to get out,” Kyle explains. “There is only one way out, and the only way is to solve the puzzles and unlock the clues.”
Once inside the room, participants are locked in and must solve a series of puzzles in order to escape. “There are different types: word and math puzzles, mechanical problems and such,” describes Kyle. “It’s also figuring out which is important in the room to be able to unlock the clues and the doors.”
