We enjoyed the West Coast Mussels. They were done in a unique way cooked in an Amber ale with a variety of herbs and veggies. I had the TD burger with blue cheese and it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The gravy for my fries was very flavorful and thick. My girlfriend had the chicken burger with blue cheese. She thought the blue cheese was to strong and had to remove some of it. Otherwise it was great. We also had the chocolate fudge layer cake. topped with whip cream and raspberries on the side also in whipped cream.
The Old Train Station Pub renovations have been very well done. It has a great atmosphere for a quiet dinner like mine, with just me and my girlfriend, for larger gathering, or staff parties. There are a number of large televisions to watch your favorite hockey game.
All in all we had a great experience, the food was excellent, the service was great, and will be going back again soon!

If you just want to enjoy a cold beer and shoot the breeze it's a good venue. The staff are personable, and the owner is engaging. But the food is below average - skinny overcooked tasteless burgers, limp pickles, over priced average wine, and over priced food for what it is. They are new so there is always hope they will improve, but for the 8 of us who went the other night, we will not go back.
