    Great Service-Highly recommend

    I had great & friendly service. My deadbolt tumbler was "frozen" so I removed it & went to the shop. He fixed it and didn't charge me & gave me free advice on how to care for the deadbolt. Re:In the defense of Tidey Lock in previous comment posted re:charge out fees. I have found those fees normal for ALL locksmiths. When called out, they have top bring tools & the truck containing the tools. Distance doesn't matter from my experiences, as a landlord who used many companies in the past.

    I called to get a...

    I called to get an inside door opened (not a major job) at my business which is not even 5 minutes walking from their store, Wanted to charge me $120.00 for the service call plus tax. Never will I step foot in their store to cut a key again. Get your keys cut at Walmart for cheaper .

    I have just found this review as well more than 2 years later. I'm sorry that you found that we were to expensive for you, I have no idea what store you are referring to, but in general the people in the store are not locksmiths at all. The locksmiths are out working on locksmithing jobs all over the North Shore and Vancouver. From the price you mention it looks like it was a request for an evening or weekend callout and they are more expensive. If you ever see this reply, give us a call, Cheers
