Dustin Fishbook started TheBelmont Barbershop in 2005 with an emphasis on offering quality haircuts with classic style. "We are capable of doing any kind of haircut or styling," says Fishbook¹s business partner Rich Hope, "but our clientele includes a number of working professionals who are interested in a good, clean cut over the latest fashion."
Located in Vancouver¹s Mount Pleasant, The Belmont Barbershop has established itself as part of the community. "We attract people from the neighbourhood, but also we're central enough to be a destination shop,” Rich says. Indeed, men often just stop by to chat with the barbers and their clients.
"We're a full-service barber shop and we also offer men's hairstyling," Rich explains. You'll find a variety of age groups at the shop, as well as barbers who pride themselves on knowing each other's clients. "If you stop by and your regular barber is busy, you can sit in any chair and still get a great haircut from someone else," says Rich.
