The server was very observent and kind. Made great suggestions and the timing was excellent for everything. We really enjoyed the food it was different then your normal run of the mill restaurant. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to our friends and family.

this is one of the worst places i have ever been. we are restuarants owners from cobourg, and ate here, for a special night out. It was a joke. Our server (Tara) was the worst one, could ask for. She was dense at best, and, had no clue about the menu. She kept repeating, that, it was a new menu, and, when, we finally talk to the manager( chris ) he had mentioned, that the menu had started weeks before. Our appetizers were messed up,(we didnt even get them) 2 of the 6 meals, had to be sent back, because, they were totally wrong, and, tara (we are pretty sure that was her name) pretty much avoided us, untill her manager came over to talk to us. I will tell you that, if he didnt talk to us we would have never came back to this so called restaurant. He was one of the better managers, i have seen in a restaurant, and, in a matter of a few mintues, had completely turned our evening around. but that said, i think the owners, should look into getting there staff into shape. it was not very busy, and all of the servers were standing around at the front with there backs to the restaurant, and, not really worried about the guests, we over heard them telling dirty jokes, and they seemed to be very "friendly" with one another. anyway, very unprofessional, in my opinion. we did hear good things about the place, so mabey it was a bad night.
we we entered, the restaurant, there must have been 6 waiters with there backs to us. no, one, turned around to say hi. finally i asked to be seated, and i felt like, i was breaking someones neck to do it. nicole was serving us, and , she was flaky at best, and none attentive. the only highlight of our evening, was the manager, just happened to pop by, and asked how everything was, we didnt feel the need to tell him everything then, but, he was quite nice, and brought us, a suprise dessert. would have been a nice touch, if everything else, didnt suck, and his gesture, was the only reason, we are not complety unhappy. i think his name was chris, or something, a bigger guy. anyway, we will not return. you should do something about the lazy staff, and get them to pay more attention. the food was just OK.
This restaurant needs to get into shape. The service was extremely slow and our waitress did not explain anything to us. We were sharing a meal which on the menu said you could get a salad (which I had heard was quite good) for an extra $0.99. When I ordered she asked if we would like that on one plate or on two, so I asked for it on one because my boyfriend isnt a fan of salads. When we got the bill, she had charged us for a full salad instead of the price on the menu. We did not get any money taken off even though the salad had burnt almonds on it and some of the lettuce was rotten. The meal wasnt even that great, only lukewarm though it should have been hot. I would request that this restaurant start to serve better dinners especially for the costs or they are going to be going out of business soon!
