Just wondering if this place is still open ? I drove by the other day and there was no signs for the restraunt anymore.
They offer some great dishes with a wide variety of options, including all day breakfast. The service is quick and always friendly. They are quick to accommodate any special orders you have. All the servers seem to really enjoy where they work and it shows with the smiles and the great service. You never wait long for a table and the food always comes out hot, very tasty and huge portions. It is a very clean and welcoming restaurant and has a real family atmosphere. You are always greeted with a smile and they always make sure to give my little one a sucker on the way out and invite me back. Cant wait to go back!!
One of the hardest things to find in Toronto is an independent restaurant that has an amazing breakfast. On Victoria Day, my husband and I visited the Grille. They make the world's best peameal bacon! You have to ask for a substitution if you'd prefer it in your eggs benedict, but it's worth it! Place was packed, short wait, great service, amazing food, no wait for the cheque. Our favourite breakfast spot, we don't go anywhere else.
FAMILY HAS BEEN GOING THERE OVER 20 YEARS...BKFST BURGERS ETC THE BEST...NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL...AND I DO GO TO OTHER PLACES AND THE GRILLI .IS JUST AS GOOD OR BETTER.THE SERVICE IS GOOD.COFFEE IS BOTTOMLESS AND ANY MISTAKES(FEW)ARE FIXED.PEOPLE CARE WHO WORK THERE.
We took the kids to lunch today . What a mistake , every meal that was ordered , total garbage ! Nothing was fresh everything was from frozen or a can. What kind of a person or people can put their name, behind this crap? Do they not have any integrity or pride? I guess not . The guy running the floor what a goof, he did not even comb his hair when he got out of bed, come on , if you don't want to be there stay home ! I would not feed this food to an animal. Don't even look at the place when driving by , Yes it's that bad.
My boyfriend and I used to visit the Dundas Street Grille almost every Sunday for breakfast. We would arrive after 12pm and there would normally be a line up but we would usually be seated within 15-20 minutes of arriving. The staff are nice, we basically became regulars there so everyone knew us when we came in. Food was good for the price. We always left very full. It's too bad that our work schedules don't allow us to go back as often, but we'll definately make time for it.
Ordered sausages and eggs with well done homefries. Waited through 2 cups of coffee for our meal to arrive. Had to send one back as they made the wrong eggs. The grease they cook the homefries in is the bed for my meal... under the eggs... everywhere, this horrible orange grease on my plate. I move the homefires off the plate and sop it up with a napkin, soaking it right through from front to back. When I complain to the greasy looking manager guy, I'm told I'm being unreasonable. If I don't want to pay never come back. I won't.
Great Food, Very Consistant, Great Service, Great Prices. We go at least once a week. Best Roast Beef dinner at great prices. Would recommend this to anyone.
Great breakfasts, good value, before 11:00AM on the weekends. Best is the skillets. The service is generally fast, and I have observed that one waitress in particular, is flipant, but overall, very good. I did have trouble with one waitress, but the way I see it, is that this can alway be reflected in the tip, or non existant of one. To me, a tip is a reward not a right. But, I'm not about to stop going to my fav breakfast place, because someone is having a bad day!! The worse the service, tip drop, tip drop, till there's nothing to give. And then I give the manager a call later.
Worst service, worst food and rip-off prices! They charge over $3.00 for a soft drink that's 75% ice and there are NO free refills!!! Their hot chicken sandwich was the worst I've ever had and I will NEVER eat there again! The service and attitude of the waitress was so bad I refused to leave a tip!
OMG ! best place, I go there every Saturday morning and they all know us. The homefries ROCK, and the waitors are soo nice ! p.s thee busboys are pretty hott :P ! The BEST place ever. Recomend it? FOR SURE.
i am from edinburgh, scotland and visit toronto every few years ....... every time we are over we always make a stop or three here, the breakfasts are the best and i just cant get enough of their homefries
Food was cold, took max. 5 minutes to make. It seemed like everything was reheated. Waiter was rude. Overall dining experience was terrible. Will never go back there again.
We used to go for Breakfast at the DSG every week. The last time we went - I found a thick black hair on my eggs so I sent it back. I was about to eat when I noticed that the waitress came back with the SAME plate - the eggs were just flipped upside down and the hair was STILL there. I was disgusted and complained to the Manager. She did nothing. Needless to say - we won't be back.
the best breafast in town. great service great food at a great price!
This restaurant is the best!! Breakfast is always the best here. I come for the Liver dinner which is great all the time. There fish and chip are very good to. Sometime there are line up but I believe this shows the food is great here and people love to come there.
We always enjoy this place the food is good and the friendly staff.
My mistake was ordering an entree at a restaurant that does brunch/breakfast well. The garden salad consisted of Ice Berg lettuce (otherwise known as water disguised as a vegetable) with a sprinkle of cucumbers and two pieces of tomato. I had asked for balsamic vinegarette, and to my surprise I was served a bottle of balsamic vinegar and a bottle of oil; I suppose I was to make the dressing myself, but the salad was hardly worth the effort. So much eating a healthy salad. I had hoped that they would redeem themselves with the entree, but alas, their version of vegetables came from a bag in the frozen section of the local grocery store. Peas and carrots do not exactly mesh with the teriyaki beef. If only they had choose broccoli, which can also be found in the frozen foods section. The steak itself was not bad, not great either (possibly from the aforementioned section), and certainly not worth $10.75. My companions were wise and stuck to the breakfast type items, which were done well. The service wasn't bad, but when the waitress was advised that I was done with my food, she did not take my plates away, nor did she inquire as to why I didn't eat my meal. If the service had been better than I suppose I might entertain the possibility of having breakfast there in the future, but with so many other options around I think I will go elsewhere instead.
The best place in Etobicoke for Breakfast. Awesome Waffles! Don't worry about the line it moves fast.
Best breakfast place in town considering atmosphere, service, quality and pricing. Amazing true authentic milkshakes....Got to try one. Have been visiting Dundas Grill for years and know several people who travel from surrounging GTA area just to have breakfast!!!!
