The Wild Goose Bar & Grill Ltd

My friends and I have been going here for a couple of years now. The reason we go is because its close to everyone so its not a big mission to get there. Every saturday night there is a group of men that sing the worst karaoke EVER! its so annoying when you want to enjoy your drinks and you have to listen to tone deaf aging men sing the same songs OVER AND OVER. Its way over priced and honestly the service is getting worse. The new waitresses are rude and lazy. Our waitress sat at the bar for 20 minutes while my friend was waiting for her drink. The guys working there are nice but the girls are just AWFUL. The owner gets drunk on the job and sometimes snaps at his customers. I used to have lots of fun here but now its just annoying and i don't think i will be going there often anymore.

Definitely nothing to write home about. In fact I was shocked to see that this place was jammed at lunchtime. Ordered fried Calamari, ceasar salad and T-bone steak. Calamari, lightly battered, very small peices had to pick up with fork and I was hoping for seafood sauce but got some creamy ranch type sauce. All the peices were the round part of a calamari order and there was absolutely not a single peice of squid. Ceasar: Well you really can't go wrong with ceasar salad other than too much dreassing. However this one was perfectly dressed. T-Bone: One of the worst Entrees I've ever had. Order med-well and the meat was extremely dry and burnt. I came with about 6 peices of small whole mushrooms with absolutely no sauce whatsoever. The veges that came with it were undercooked as they were litterally in a raw state and the baked potato was half burnt and half raw (still can't figure this one out) So honestly I know I shouldn't expect too much in the quality of food at a bar/pub, but please there should be somewhat of an effort. Next time, if I do come by it will be for beer and wings only!!!!

Nice place and great atmosphere....good tunes and great friends make this place number 1 on my list....service was excellent and food was great....good size portons! Highly recommended!

Rudest waitress I have ever had!

I must say when I walked into the wild goose it seemed very busy yet well kept and looked topical to most bars. As soon as soon as we sat down we were greeted by our server. she took our drink order right away and with in five minutes we had drinks, the only problem was they weren't ours they were pints of Rickard's or some other dark Beer. when we pointed out that she had brought us the wrong drink she simply replied " so do you want these or not"? we decided not to make a fuss and drink the beer. She then took our order and we got no cheese or beacon on the burger as we had asked and our cutlery was given to us after our food once we got our food we could not find our server for at least 20 mins when we did flag her down she told us " you'll have to wait your turn i have other tables to you know" when we got our bill we paid by credit card and as we walked out my sister heard her tell the other dark haired waitress we were "cheap idiots" for the 7 dollar tip we left her. I was very disappointed in this place

Poor untimely, rude SERVICE!!!

We recently expanded our business and decided to go to Wild Goose to treat the new employees. We took them to Wild Goose as it was close to work and convenience. Convenience meaning that we could have a good time within an hour and go back to work. This did not happen. It took 15 minutes to order a drink then an additional 12 minutes to take the orders. Wait that's not all, it took 1 hour and 10 minutes to ask where our food was. Apart from starving, wasting our time and dealing with rude waitresses we had to pay for our $3.00 drinks that sat there since we were all waiting for our food to enjoy them. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told that they manager was too busy to speak with us. No wonder it's called Wild Goose, perfectly represents the people and service.

Plethora of Options

We went there as a group and the service was very prompt. The selection on pretty much everything was huge. They have so much on tap, i think the waitress told us there was 18 or 19 different beers on tap. The menu is huge as well. There is just so much to choose from and everything we've had so far has been delicious. I can't wait for the weather to get great so we can enjoy the patio all summer long. The only thing i could negatively say would be that the portions are almost too big, we're some big guys so we can eat a lot but not everyone is like us. great food/service, definitely visit again

We went there on Jan 16 at about 1100 pm. We waited for 15 mins before someone came to get our orders. Their double rye/coke tasted like double coke. When they were about to close, we asked for water and they did not want to serve any because they said they were closed already. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE.

My wife and I frequent this place about 5-6 times a year and have yet to find fault with the food or service. We marvel at the fact that everything that comes out of the kitchen is prepared near perfectly and we are always treated as "family". We arrive usually just after 4:30 PM which could have something to do with this. The Wild Goose has a permanent place on our list.

Although the service started out ok it ended in a very disappointing manner. First of all the chicken tasted really watery and mushy, the bread was stale and there was a sour taste either from the peppers or the cheese (one of them wasn't fresh). When I told the waitress about it she responded with “oh”. That's all she said. She took it away and didn't even ask me if I would like something else. Shortly thereafter she returned with our bills. I was presented with a bill for my ginger ale. Now I really don't mind paying for something I order but, given that my food was not edible I believe a courtesy call was in order and I should not have even seen a bill at all. It is highly unlikely I will ever go there again.

Horrendous Service. had to practically beg for a drink. waitress had an attitude and seemed like she resented the fact we were taking up her personal time by asking for a drink and a menu. It seems as nobody enjoys working here. Nobody smiles and no one is polite. Will not be back and will not recommend this to anyone.

i went to this restaurant after it was recommended by a close family friend. I was told the service and food would be excellent. I was quite disappointed. first of all it was not busy and our first round of drinks took quite a while. ( you could see the Bartender was "too" busy) The food was EXCELLENT. Although i loved the food the overall service lacked and i will never revisit!! i read another review claiming she had been going there for years and they are fabulous, no wonder! The servers know you and treat you with respect. anyone not known to the servers BEWARE, they are horrible!

Hello, I’m writing this note about The Wild Goose!!!! I have been dining at this restaurant for the past 8 years. And I must say that the service is great. The atmosphere is just wonderful. They greet and attend to your needs in a respectful manner and always make you feel at home. I have become a regular at The Wild Goose and must say that there is a bartender by the name of Heidi she respects you 100% and treats you well during your stay. I always have her serve me. She’s very nice and kind to all HER customers AND OTHERS that enter the rest’ she just makes you feel so welcomed. Sunday’s she managers the place and it’s great. I hope for people to go to this rest’ and see for themselves as to what a great person she really is…..OUT OF A 100% I GIVE HEIDI A 200% RATING………SHE’S THE BEST!

NOT EXCELLENT! i am completly shocked to read other reviews that say this place is amazing and the service was good! i was served by a very emotional girl who was rude 90% of the time and the other 10% kissing our "bums" in trying to get a tip. I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before, i also was at a table near a service station and to hear what they were talking about, my goodness. If the owner reads this you need to chnage your staff. A short blonde that was always smiling was quite curtious to us, but our server; i believe it was heidi was horrible! make sure she doesn't stay long or you may have some problems.
