I've been to Grecos twice. First time, the food was great and service was excellant. Second time was completely different. It took a while to get a seat. Once seated, it took another little while to get drinks ordered. Not a big deal. On to the food; we ordered calamari as an appetizer. When it arrived it was tasty but extremely greasy, there was a pool of grease on the bottom of the plate. Too greasy to fully enjoy. As for the main courses, I ordered stuffed trout. When it arrived I realized it was deep fried. Nowhere on the menu did it say it was served deepfriend. The fillet was very tiny and there was little meat. The veggies were nicely seasoned and cooked. My girlfriend ordered some greek minced beef dish. It was burnt black on both sides and extremely greasy, it was almost like a giant hamburger patty. When the server asked how everything was, I told him that my girlfriends beef dish was burnt black. He talked with manager and I was only charged with a small greek salad for the whole entry, even though my girlfriend only ate half of it, and barely touch the burnt meat. Either way, I was glad we got a discount. As for as service goes, it was better the first time i visited this place. Our server was polite, service was slow but the place was busy. The server was aplogetic about the burnt food and seemed sincere about it. All in all, i may go back, i may not.
