Most impressed with the new menu! They have done a lot to incorporate some of the trendier, asian foods - there are now things like pork and apple stir-fry, a decent pad thai, curry, and all the old favourites like perogies, ribs, liver & onions, and irish stew. I have never been disappointed here and considering the amount of times I've been there, that's significant. Very pub-like. Dark wood, semi-basement, full of framed historical prints. If you're looking for gourmet and cocktails, not my first choice. But for comfort grub and a pint or two - perfect. I have wonderful memories in this place.
An old pub thats been around for ages. Usually older gents. Food is always quick and tasty, a great meal for two, appetizer, drinks, main course is about 25 dollars. Always great staff and always a great pub buzz in the room. nothing offensive. go there every other week.
My friend and I had the NY sirloin steaks and they were fantastic! You could cut them with your tongue.
My husband had the half-rack of ribs and said they were done to perfection. He was stuffed with the half-rack so I can only imagine how big the full rack is!
We had a teenager with us and he raved about how good the Thai curry was. He also had a dessert called "Death by Chocolate" and it looked like pure heaven.
Two other friends had the venison and one of them said it was they best he's ever had.
I must say, I was a bit sceptical about getting a really great meal in a pub - boy was I surprised! This place has much more to offer than the traditional pub fare of wings, meat pies and fish 'n chips. What a refreshing change to have great food in a comfortable atmosphere of a pub.
The staff were all very helpful, kind and efficient considering it was a Saturday night and they were harried because the restaurant was packed!
Lastly, you'll never go hungry as they serve an abundace of food so you really feel like you got your money's worth!

Decent pub food. Friendly staff. Good value for the money. Has a nice Sunday brunch - go early as it gets crowded. Not bad for a pub. A good spot to go and have some beer and finger food.
Great local pub with a healthy variety of menu items to suit everyone. Service is friendly but this is a cozy pub, not a fast food place. Plenty of comfort food, with reasonable prices and good portions. Love the British pub atmosphere. We always go back!
