The staff were very rude, and both times I attended we waited 45 minutes just to order. The kicker here is the staff. They are not willing to show one ounce of friendly customer service. I won't go again and I highly recommend you do not either. There is many other great Italian restaurants in town.

I've been to Saporito twice, the second time not by choice (work). The first time was, by far, the most awful dining experience ever. Our drink orders were mixed up, appetizers arrived in shifts (one not at all), a "vegetarian" pasta had bacon in it. To top it off, several entrees arrived that we didn't order. The waitress was drunk or otherwise impaired; when it came time for dessert, the owner took our order and informed us that the waitress had been fired.
Despite all the screw-ups, and the fact it was a large party of regulars (except for me, and it was MY birthday party), the owner only comped the dessert.
It was a fiasco from start to finish. I think my friends are still embarrassed by their "treating" me to dinner.
The second time I was there, the service was adequate. The food, however, was overpriced for something simple that I could have made at home.
Go back? Never by choice.
Our worst dining experience ever! Rude, arrogant Staff, who made no effort to be polite or pleasant. We felt as if we were intruding. Food was well below average, poorly presented.The owner seems to be under the impression that he can act in an offhand manner, because HE believes the food is wonderful. He is arrogance on two legs. He would do well to remember that anyone who enters his restaurant has chosen to go there, and they should be treated respectfully for this reason. Different treatment for those who have expensive bottles of wine, we noticed. Really glad we went, as we know never to go back again. Please, please do not waste your money or your night out here. Go to one of the other restaurants in the city that are far superior to this one for so many reasons.
My friend and I each did a take out order of spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread. The service was really quick. The portions were generous and the food was really flavorful, and still hot and tasty by the time we got home with it. The price can't be beat! The Monday deal is an amazing value.
I've yet to dine in but I look forward to it as the staff were very friendly and the food was great.
Organized my mom's 50th with Jim, and everything was perfect, the meals were awesome, and everyone loved it. such a great place to eat. we had a special menu prepared for us as well as desserts provided for us. definatly will return as soon as possible!! Thanks soo much for making our night perfect!
