Doing a cottage reno, and needed firewood in a pinch. Due to the COVID shortage I called around to no avail but explained my plight to Jurgen who said he still had some - demand pricing of $1000 for a cord and a half. He wanted to charge me $80 to home deliver less than 10kms next day. I was desperate. He called indicating I had to transfer money NOW, before he would come. I found this odd. But I agreed. While waiting for the transfer to come through he told me he wouldn`t be coming. BEWARE.

It is unfortunate that we were not contacted of a shortage... We strive to have orders accurate. For the past 33 years when a order is loaded we utilize a greater cubic volume measurement which is marked on the truck that equals a stacked measurement

The quality of the wood is good, but the delivery was well under a full cord as ordered. When stacked, it was almost 20% less than a cord. Please be aware when ordering.

this business has...

this business has very good firewood. but, I had 4 deliveries from him, and 3 of the 4 were short of the full bush cord he said he would deliver. I had to stop doing business with him, because he complained every time I told him he was short. he does not stack his wood before delivering, he just eyeball's it, and dumps it into his truck. I will never order from him again.
