Siva and his staff are amazing. We came to Timmins for a hockey tournament and needed a restaurant that could accommodate 40+ people, Siva had a section in the back of the restaurant reserved for us. When we came in, the food was ready and the kids ate right away. The buffet was great, very good food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely be back when I am here again.
My first time going to Siva's was with a group of friends. I wasn't hungry at all, but ordered a full meal with the intentions of taking it home and having it for lunch the next few days. Since i was only picking at my food, Siva came up to me and asked if he could cook me something new, since it appeared that I wasn't enjoying my food... What a nice thing to do... Amazing food, amazing service :)
First of all I will go over the food. It is filling, it is excellent, and consistent. Every single time I go there I leave full, and quite satisfied. Great food
Service is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, check on you often, always trying to make your stay an enjoyable one. Wonderful service, some of the best I have ever had.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the pasta bar experience is something different that sets it apart from other restaurants in the area. It might seem like something small, but it's those little touches that really make a place stand out.
Overall it's hard to find really anything about the place to complain about, so until I find myself in a real fine dining restaurant I'll have to give this one a perfect score as I have never had a better restaurant experience.

Had my sisters birthday party there for 40 ppl and service was fantastic!!!! Siva and his employees give it their 100%..thanks..will be there next weekend!

Siva, the owner and head chef, is a delightful and charming host who takes each of his guest to heart. He takes pride in not only remembering their individual names, but their usual orders and favourites. His staff is knowledgable, well trained and absolutely pristine. The food and ambience are equally as impressive and the entire restaurant is not only a local watering hole, but a tourist attraction bringing in hungry travellers from cities, provinces and even countries away... Siva's Family Restaurant is just that, A family restaurant.... Go there, become part of his family, enjoy the endless talents of himself and his staff in both their kitchen and services.

The atmosphere is very nice inside. The owner did a real nice job with renovations. It doesn't feel like a family restaurant, although it is! The cooks were very efficient at keeping the buffet full.
