I never really thought much of burritos until I tried one from burrito boyz. The halibut burrito is one of my favourite foods now. Be warned though, the hot sauce is very spicy.
Easily the best burrito's in TORONTO.... AMAZING!!!@ price is just right, food portions are perfect, and FAST!!! I will go out of my way to eat here when craving a burrito
(Disregard my previous review as it is for the Port Credit location!) Having visited the Mississauga locations, I had high expectations on the downtown one. I find the 905 ones very BLAND. If you order a Chicken Burrito, they use minced chicken which doesn't taste seasoned at all! Anyway, my sis suggested that I order the Halibut. Between ordering --> called to get my toppings --> burrito was finally ready was quite some time. I realise that it's not McDonald's, but the place wasn't that busy - maybe a coupla people were waiting for their orders ahead of me. As for the halibut, I expected flaky pieces of white fish, but what I got was a small piece of High Liner! I have made better fish tacos, from scratch with baja sauce, for half the cost. In between the meh-rice, I was barely able to taste the fish! The tacos were edible, but not the best that I have tasted. (If you're in the West-end, check out El Sombrero which is by far better!) I guess I just expected more. Judging by how busy this place apparently gets, it's definitely over-hyped!
I love burrito boys! There is a reason why this place is always packed with people. I usually get a small shrimp with everything on it, but the chicken and halibut are great too and you have the option to mix! It's tasty, filling and affordable, as well as a healthier alternative than other take out.
40 minutes for a burrito. They wouldn't give me a refund and asked if it was my first time there, as if I should have known it would take that long.
Decent, but not great.Fast but sloppy and not the cleanest food prep areas. Would go again in a pinch only. Priced reasonably.
I can't get enough of these burritos. I actually have yet to go to the location on Peter Street, but I am a frequent visitor to the one on Lakeshore in Mississauga. The place generally is always packed and kind of dirty, but taste the food and you'll know it's worth it. Parking is an ordeal, but you really only come here to pick up anyways. The food is prepared well and just has plenty of flavour. But one time I wasn't in the mood for hot sauce, so I had a chicken burrito minus the hot sauce. This was probably my biggest mistake, since the hot sauce really adds the kick that makes the burrito that much better. If you are looking for a healthier alternative to fast food and a meal full of flavour, Burrito Boyz is the place for you.
Love this place! The food is fresh and the portions are very generous. You can see the sauces being prepared and each burrito is grilled before your eyes. My only complaint is that the hot sauce (the one they warn you about) is never mixed into the toppings - instead they place small dots along the guacamole and when you bite into one of those dots - wow, it's intense!
First of all, please excuse 'Radz' review. He refers to the burritos as tacos, and therefore his lack of knowledge on the subject reflects his score of 7. The BURRITO does its job, and does it well. It comes packed to the gills with your favourite additions. Is it a "10" burrito? Well no, but close. You can't really screw up a burrito, but if you did then just close the eatery you own & try something. Either way, Burrito Boyz is putting you out of business
The food will keep me coming back for sure, but not the long wait, and the fact that there is hardly any room. I went there 2 days in a row one time, I had the best burrito ever, the next day it was average so I think they have to improve their consistency.
When I got tehre, there was a bit of a line but the people making the burritoz were very fast at what they did. So I didn't find myself waiting for that long. I had a small steak and my boyfirend had the large chicken. They were both amazing, ofcourse! We were both supprised to learn that you can actually mix anything on the menu such as the chicken and steak together or shrimp and steak, Next time I am most def. going to get a small mix GOOD JOB BBOYZ
Absolutly amazing food! WOW. I was blown away by the flavor and freshness
Amazing! Best burrito place in the city. I couldn't finish my burrito it was so large. For $9 i couldn't have asked for more. An enjoyable meal for anyone.
Well I think that place doesn't need a review as I guess it's some sort of a legend around here :) The place basically a fast food take out place where you can get burritos and quesadilias. I usually go for a large chicken burrito which is filled just as you like it. As I also like it hot and spicy just ask and the use a bit more of the hot stuff :) The price is very good and you can expect a realy large burrito. That place is open late night and has another (secound) location on Adelaide Str. which is not openon sundays. If you give it a try expect to wait a bit on lunch hours. In my opinion the best burrito place in Toronto!
A great fast-food/take-out alternative. For $9 including tax, you get a delicious Halibut Burrito topped just the way you want, made to order in about 10 minutes. The Steak is great too & leaves your belly full to the brim.
