The server was very charming and experienced with the menu. Had good recommendations and was personalble. The patio was very busy and we had a great relaxing meal. We were not rushed to leave. I cannot believe the bad reviews that this restaurant received. I also had my parents 35th wedding anniversary here and it was great. We asked for wine and they opened it front of us and poured it to who wanted it. The same with the water. The specials were well priced. Will make it my regular place to eat.

food took forever and it was ridiculously priced for the amount and service we recieved. We were very disappointed with the stressful and noisy atmosphere. The wine is ridiculously priced and the bread stale. As tourists we asked around for a nice place to go for dinner. What a waste of our time and money. We do not recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a good dinig experience.

What and excellent experience!!! Busy, busy little place. The service was outstanding to say the least and the food was cooked to perfection. Although we would have preffered the baked brie to have been a little bit bigger we can understand that such a rich appetizer shouldn't be to large....we just want to say that for all you people who have complained about prices, there is a menu right outside the entrance of the restaurant that clearly indicates all prices so you make yourselves look silly when you complain about it....its not a pub! Anyways, thanks Il Postino. We definitely will be back!!!

We stayed at the Hilton suites and we were on a...

We stayed at the Hilton suites and we were on a business dinner from IBM.We decided to go somewhere close to our hotel ;so we picked il postine.From the moment we arrived we were not welcomed.The place didn't seem too busy and the hostess seemed a bit too snobby to us.The food was rediculously too expensive for what we had gotten and it wasn't of good quality.Portions were too small and I had much better pasta at our company cafeteria.The appetizer calamary and shrimp was overcooked and the carpaccio was too small and tough.We were overcharged on the drinks we didn't consume .When my collegue approached the server ,she didn't seem to care.We will never return to this horrid place especially when the pinot grigio was served on the warm side . Our first time is going to be our last.
