I've been here a few times over the years and this restaurant does not disappoint! The food is pretty standard for American cuisine and is usually well cooked, though I once had chicken that tasted off. The signature sauce that comes with meals is amazing! Dessert portions are too small for the price but prevent me from overeating. Service is friendly but sometimes slow during peak times. I'd recommend this place for family meals (it's not private enough for dates). The atmosphere has a comfortable, homey feel to it. I definitely recommend the classic rotisserie chicken! Lire plus

Extra spicy chili beef was orderd;however, previously ( a few days ago); just the chili beef (with the regular amount of spice was ordered). The extra spicy chili beef was Extremely good! It had the most pleasant flavour, and it was fresh, unlike other places from which I have ordered Hakka Chinese food. The service was fast, and I was satisfied with the meal. The servers were friendly (which always helps). An order of fried Sankee fried rice was also ordered; which consisted of beef/chicken/shrimp. (this too was VERY FRESH, one of the best fried rice dishes that I have tasted by far! A serving of spicy wings was also ordered ,and this too was quite tasty, and of course once again, FRESH! This restaurant does not serve any PORK dishes, so this was a bonus! As for the Spring Rolls, they were filled with stuffing accordingly, and they too were once again fresh, as well as the Egg Rolls which had a very pleasant crisp to them! (they sell at very good prices also)! In essence, SANKEE RESTAURANT HAS THE BEST INDIAN HAKKA STYLE CHINESE FOOD IN TORONTO AMONGST ALL THE ONES FROM WHICH I HAVE VISITED! (I highly encourage everyone who enjoys trying different types of food, to try Sankee Restaurant. You will not be sorry that you did! Bon Appetite Lire plus

I'm a repeat customer and every time I visit this Thai restaurant, I'm always pleased with its food and service (with a smile). The food I order taste splendid, and offers generous amount for its value paid. During weekend nights, it could get really busy both for dine-in and take-out. nice decor, very tropical like~ my brother and I ordered small sized Pho /w our choice of 3 items in it, it came out fast and steaming hot~ Thai basil was really fresh, like they just picked them up from basil plant a minute ago, awesome~ we also ordered 3 skewers of beef Shish Kobab, mid-well interior was excellent and juicy~ we also ordered fried lemon grass chick wings, this is really bland, we had to add white peppers and hot sauce to make the wings eat-worthy, other than that, the wings are pretty juicy and moist~ finally, the reason why we won't come back to this restaurant is because there was a server cleaning the chop sticks on table at that night~ she dropped a chop stick on the floor (by accident), and she glanced at the fallen chop for a sec, and pick it up, and return it to the cleaned tray of chop sticks~ pretending nothing had ever happened~ that was so horrifing because we might be using the dirty chop sticks~ Yak~ triple Yak~ I mean, couldn't she just return the dirty chop stick in the "to be washed" bin and just get over it~ NEVER EVER return it to the tray of cleaned chop sticks~ this happened around 11:10 pm on June 1st, 2010~ Lire plus
