They dont skimp on the meat and they buy the best cuts. The order is exactly what you tell them it should be. As always you come out full. Waitress was gorgeous and had a nice body. The wine was really not that expensive. The food itself added up tho. The wait was a little long tho. Lire plus

The service here is great. I'm obsessed with the Singaporean-style slaw to the point where I've drove across the city just to get it as take out. After a movie date we were trying to get into one of the places beside the movie theatre but the wait was too long. One of the party suggested the Galway Arms close by. I've never been and I surprised to have a place with good food, service and atmosphere in the area that I hadn't heard of. And I hear its been there for 20 years too!!! We all ordered something different from the menu so we could try different things. Nachos to start - nice big portion with lots of veggies and with lots of cheese. We discovered that the Irish Stew, Shephards Pie, Burgers and Steak and Mushroom Pie were all homemade - so different from the ones you get elsewhere and you could choose if you wanted fries, salad, mashed potatoes or soup with your order. I had the Louisiana Chicken Wrap which was very tasty but its a very large portion so you'll have lunch for tomorrow. Everything was hot and really good and large enough that some of us took leftovers home. Those that didn't cleared our plates!!!!! We were divided on the fries as not all of us were big fans of the hand cut fries but those that did like them loved them - soaked in vinegar. Our server remembered everything (including all of the weird requests) without writing it down and everything came out exactly as ordered. She gave us very prompt service and was naturally friendly to us and even took time to talk to one of the guys who was thinking of a trip to Ireland by telling him when the flights would be cheaper, ideal times to visit, places in Dublin to visit etc. We've decided to make this our after movie treat from now on and look forward to the patio in the summer. I always enjoy the menu at Milestones. I have one concern. The wine list unbelievably does not have ONE Ontario wine in its selection of wines that are all international. Its hard to believe that in our Niagara region we produce some of the worlds best wines at very good prices and Milestones doesn't have even one red and white available. Please correct this for your customers. Our group were mystified when they looked at the wine list and all agreed this was an oversight at a good restaurant. Lire plus

I have always wanted to try Milestones and finally went today for lunch as it is convenient to my hotel. If the bruschetta is any indication of the taste of their food, I will definitely be back! The lunch combo is a perfect way to try two dishes. The salad could have used more toppings, particularly the spicy glazed pecans but the vinaigrette is pleasant with the remaining greens. I love the fact that the bruschetta is on flatbread. Lots of goat cheese and great balsamic reduction! No need for dessert with this stuff!
