This new nail salon looks beautiful and luxurious, especially with a touch of modern and zen theme. I LOVE place that has some kind of themes because it just make you feel like you in 5 stars salon. It's a place to hang out with your girlfriends and still feel relax. I will get my nails done here every month because I love how they did my nails.Also it's so clean and relax to be there! This store opened recently as part of the revitalization of the area south of the Cambie Bridge. This is an interesting concept for the store that brought us the sprawling big box stores of the 'burbs that we have come to know and love. This store is on 1.5 levels on a smaller footprint and offers almost anything you can imagine for the do-it-yourself-er in an urban setting. In fact its the "almost" in the previous statement that costs this store a 5. It is true that they offer almost anything but if you want to do any larger projects involving copious amounts of lumber, landscaping stone, plants, soils and other landscaping materials you will still need to visit one of the big stores. All that aside, if you are looking for anything else this is a great store to hit, particularly given their location. My child and I particularly enjoy the monthly (every second Saturday) children's workshops where the kids get to build a fun, wood-based project. Afterward there are a myriad of options to pursue such as a walk at the sea-wall around False Creek or a hot chocolate at Starbucks. Check it out next time you're in the area and you will leave impressed!

I've been here multiple times and always had a great experience, the owner is friendly, knowledgeable and always makes sure you are happy with your nails. Also, a great place to go with you girlfriends as SITC plays continuously on their t.v.'s.
$50 for a manicure/pedicure combo is also a great deal!
Don't be fooled though, other locations are not up to par with this one.

I love the Spa At The Madison! Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for at the spa - personalized service. I don't feel like I'm in an assembly line when I'm there, and the products are second to none. The atmosphere is lovely, and I have no hesitation in recommending Katie, Kaitlyn, Asia, and Rena to anyone. They are great!

Got a great hair cut here! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The owner Firas cut my hair, and did a great job. I will definitely be coming back. This is the best hair salon in Burnaby that I've been to hands down! Prices are very fair as well.
