Great! Pat is very knowledgeable and not only did he clean our chimney and give us a Wett certification for our insurance, he pointed out a couple of issues with our fireplace chimney that had been missed during installation (and cleaning by a different company). He added the missing caulking and also replaced the gasket on our wood stove door and now our stove is better than ever! It heats up so much better and uses less wood. Thanks Pat!

I would highly recommend Vancouver Chimney Chief for any of your fireplace needs. We had a problem with smoke building up when the tenants above us were having a fire. He took the time to explain the problem to me (a new homeowner and landlord who knows nothing about fireplaces). He offered me solutions that were both budget friendly and those that were long term and energy efficient. I really appreciated that he said I could call if I had any issues with the fireplace.

I must say we hired H & B Chimney for the first time this year. It was a neighbourhood thing where we all get our chimneys done at the same time. We used H & B Chimney and every neighbour was thoroughly impressed by how they made sure they checked everything and did a proper clean. We called these guys in the morning, they were at our house, in Burnaby, by noon & out in less than 1/2 hr. They did an awesome job, charged 100.00 flat rate. Left the house clean. So pleased with the service & will call them on a regular basis now that we've found them. Will recommend them to all!

If you need help with any wood burning appliance relatedwork, whether is a new installation of a wood stove or a wood insert, whetheris related to maintenance work to an actual installation including chimney,WETT inspection and other related work, the right people to call are not that far.
I recently installed a wood insert on my old fireplace andwhat I can say is, that dealing with Rick at "Chim-ChimineySweep" and his workers was by far the best experience I had with acontractor and his work. He wasn't only very helpful in letting me know all Ineeded to know about my options, but the work quality, his patience to mysometimes paranoid questions, his knowledge, his promptitude were outstanding.
Money is not a thing that is pushing me out of the house butI am not sorry for any cent I have spent to get his help and now I am a happyowner of a warm house (see the picture - I still need to finish the trimmingwork around the tiles and the mantel, but that is my job).
I would gladly recommend him and his company to everybody.
