There are wings and then there are wings: you’ll find some of the best in East York at The Wally Tap & Grill. At The Wally wings are prepared to the perfect degree of crispness and tenderness. They are plentiful and served with a side of delicious fries.
It’s not just the way the wings are cooked that makes them so good, but the way the meat is sourced as well. “About twice a week, we go and handpick our meat and produce fresh from the Danforth,” says manager Dora Kokkas. “We like to see what we’re getting so we can pass on the best to our customers.”
This same care goes into the whole menu with hearty, reliable grub like stir fry, steaks, souvlaki, wraps and pork chops coming from The Wally kitchen. A rotating menu of daily specials means there’s always something new on offer.
Went their to visit my nephew, I am not one to write reviews but the wings were cold we saw them sitting in the kitchin window for sevin minutes and when we complained to the server she told us they was fine maybe if she wasnt wearing so much awful eyeliner or didn't spend so much time outside smoking smelling like wisky n Alkohal she would see that they was not fine and that the Keeths did not taste like Kieths it was cheep beer. Big screen TVs you can put to Treehouse for the kids and friendly staff and customers...you can relax and enjoy yourself and the kids are kept occupied! The food is good and there are always leftovers!
I thought the wings were some of the best I have ever had & the home made burgers are 8 ounces and always great. I read the previous negative comments and I can't believe anyone would say that sort of thing about the Wally! The waitresses are always very friendly and the service is excellent!
If you like big portions, great food, a laid back atmostphere, and well priced beer, look no further. We're from out of town, and make it a point to visit Dora and "The Wally" whenever we're in town.
We think they have the best burgers in Toronto. They have 1/2 price wings Tuesday and Thursday. The wings are big and we always get the sauce on the side so they are nice and crispy. They mix up their daily specials so it isn't the same old thing. Some Friday nights they have a curry special which is hot and spicy if you like that type of food. The servers are friendly and polite. The cooks are always smiling. The draft beer is always ice cold and the draft lines are kept clean. Dora always makes people feel welcome.

Best wings I've ever had. Plus the fries are amazing too. Probably the best combo of wings and fries in the city. Trust me it's worth going. The prices are also cheap. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is half price wings so you can get 20 wings (comes with fries) and 2 cokes for $15. Me and my buddy go there all the time.
