There are wings and then there are wings: you’ll find some of the best in East York at The Wally Tap & Grill. At The Wally wings are prepared to the perfect degree of crispness and tenderness. They are plentiful and served with a side of delicious fries.
It’s not just the way the wings are cooked that makes them so good, but the way the meat is sourced as well. “About twice a week, we go and handpick our meat and produce fresh from the Danforth,” says manager Dora Kokkas. “We like to see what we’re getting so we can pass on the best to our customers.”
This same care goes into the whole menu with hearty, reliable grub like stir fry, steaks, souvlaki, wraps and pork chops coming from The Wally kitchen. A rotating menu of daily specials means there’s always something new on offer.

We think they have the best burgers in Toronto. They have 1/2 price wings Tuesday and Thursday. The wings are big and we always get the sauce on the side so they are nice and crispy. They mix up their daily specials so it isn't the same old thing. Some Friday nights they have a curry special which is hot and spicy if you like that type of food. The servers are friendly and polite. The cooks are always smiling. The draft beer is always ice cold and the draft lines are kept clean. Dora always makes people feel welcome.

Best wings I've ever had. Plus the fries are amazing too. Probably the best combo of wings and fries in the city. Trust me it's worth going. The prices are also cheap. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is half price wings so you can get 20 wings (comes with fries) and 2 cokes for $15. Me and my buddy go there all the time.
